A Bear, A Girl, and an Angel

Deciding to move to Vancouver Island was natural, easy, intuitive. Yet, in the process, it's taken tremendous courage along the way dealing with breaking up, moving, and starting a new for the first time - what's taken most of me so far is the 'separation' from my community in Calgary, which isn't really separate at all, but sometimes our minds get in these places. 

However I've found the start of, what could be, and FEELS to be, entering a community filled with people you are longing to call home with. Love from the core. 

Community is everything. Connection is deep and intimate. Love is light and free.

And that is all you need!! (and some organic veggies in the physical world.. obviously)

Here, I chronicle the events + expressions of my journey so far. 

MOVING TO A NATURAL WORLD

It was the morning of my departure from the city - moving day - and I pulled out my phone to check for any last messages. A picture was waiting for me from one of my best friends: she had pulled an angel card for me - it was Yvonne - who came to assure me that my pets were lovingly protected and watched over. Thinking of my cat, who I had to leave behind for a couple of months while I sorted my living situation out, I thanked her, though I sensed there was more to the message.

At my first stop, just about an hour outside of the city, I pulled over to get some spring water. The mountains were strikingly beautiful, the day was sunny and warm, and before I left with my spring water, I ran to my car to get a little jar of honey. I had brought it as an offering to the fairies + nature spirits that I was to encounter along my journey. The honey acts as a token of gratitude symbolically, but the spirits can also harvest energy from the gift; true nourishment has the ability to transcend dimensions.

It had been a few hours of driving, and I needed a longer break, so I asked Archangel Michael to help me find the perfect spot to turn off the highway. After missing a few, he guided me to one, and I quickly signaled and got off the main road. As soon as I did so, I spotted a beautiful black bear, not but 6 meters from my car.

After squealing in delight I flashed back to the card from the morning, as well as my offering to the fairies, and instantly recognized divine flow.

Feeling full of love, I got out of my car and starting chatting to the bear - and by chatting I mean shrieking with glee, telling it how much I loved it. (Keep in mind, I would only advise approaching wild animals like this if you're really in the flow with the fairies and can sense energy extremely well)

The bear checked me out, and kept walking, stopping every so often to look at me. Then, disappearing through the trees, it was gone.

Delighted, I got back in my car, and continued the journey out west, unaware of the further magical fairy encounters that soon awaited me.

The Vortex - The Story of my Break Up

As I write this I am sitting in the sunshine in my home in Calgary, AB. Just 2 days ago I was in Hawaii, soaking up the last few moments of a trip that would change me forever. How does travel do that? It seems every time we go away, we change. Our perspective changes, our inner world changes, and in many cases - our outside lives do too. 

While in Kauai, I thought in detail about how I wanted to portray the events that were taking place on the island - internally and externally. How to convey this experience so it is a pleasure to write, but also so that my audience (aka fellow cosmic questers who are here to kick some serious love booty) would gain alot of value from my words. 

And so, inspired by Doreen Virtue's work, I decided to tell a story. 

The next words are pages from my life over the last month. I will continue to write these blog posts, and as the story progresses, I hope you gain personal insights that will help you through your own inner adventures.

Coming to Noniland was a true act of divine synchronicity. 

One day, I was online and came across a great deal to fly to California and back for only a few hundred dollars.

This got my travel senses excited, and before I went to bed that night, I asked Archangel Michael, the angel who oversees our life purpose and next steps - "Would you have me book a trip to California?"

In the morning, I suddenly knew California wasn't right, but I had a sudden urge to go to Hawaii. I had been dreaming about a place with green mountains and turquoise waters, but a trip to Hawaii never really crossed my mind. It wasn't until later that I remembered, months ago, I had put a small word on my vision, because I liked the sounds of it. The word? "Hawaii"

A few days later I was visiting with a friend who had taken David Wolfe's raw nutrition certification course, and I mentioned that I was thinking about a trip to Hawaii that summer. Nikki told me of an internship program at David Wolfe's Hawaiian farm, Nonliand, and I was instantly intrigued.

Just 5 days after that initial conversation, my ticket was booked and I had been accepted as an intern to Noniland, a process I was told later, usually takes months. I left 2 weeks later, in February, far sooner than I had originally intended, but with the full knowledge that divine synchronicity was at play, and I was about to experience a seriously profound and life changing adventure.

Upon arriving to Hawaii, I was so inspired by the greenery, the mountains, and was pleasantly surprised by the soft, gentle energy of the place (it had been formed by volcanoes, after all). Although I was delighted to be there, something wasn't fully computing. I was having bad dreams ever night, and every night, my boyfriend was in them. I shrugged the dreamtime signals off every morning, ready to open my heart to Hawaii, yet only a few days after my arrival, a sudden skype call changed the course of my experience.

My boyfriend called me after a sleepless night on my end. At that point, I knew something wasn't right.

He explained to me that things weren't clicking for him anymore, that he felt like he needed to end the partnership. 

I was in shock, yet deep down, I knew my intuition saw it coming. I had simply stuffed down the signs I didn't want to face.

After getting off the call, it was all I could do to get in a hot shower, and cry. Deep sadness overcame me, as I realized that this time (we had broken up before) - it would really be it. He was my first love, my first boyfriend, we lived together, and had been in each other's lives for almost 3 years. The stories kept playing over in my mind, but through it all, as the water poured over my crying and vulnerable body, I knew I'd be OK. Spirit had a plan for me, and the message I got from Archangel Michael in the Denver airport seemed more appropriate than ever -

"It won't be what you want, but it will be what you need". 

Still, I needed to let myself feel the sorrow, so I just kept crying...

Breathing Room: Clearing

Back in September I gave you the first of a 3 part system to give yourself energetic breathing room. To give you a refresher, I use the term breathing room to indicate giving yourself space from the intense energies on the planet right now. It gives you a chance to establish boundaries, and to get to know yourself, without being affected unknowingly by the energies of your partner, your neighbours, or even your country!

Cutting cords was the first step. The second part to this is clearing. 

Clearing is essentially like taking a shower. 

You rinse yourself of all the grime you've accumulated from others, as well as any energies you've been inviting in that don't serve you. Clearing makes a huge difference when it comes to your happiness, your overall well being, and even your ability to hear your guides and angels. (I'll explain this in my upcoming course)

Water is an incredibly effective cleanser.

There are many ways to do this, and Im going to give you 3 of my favourite options. They all involve a short meditation or visualization of some sort.

1) When you're in the shower, visualize the water becoming composed of bright, sparkling white or blue light. (Or another colour if you get an intuitive hit on a hue) See this light pouring down on you, around you, and even inside of you. Set the intention that this light cleanses you of all energies that no longer serve you. Make sure to cleanse yourself of all other's energies as well. Say thank you to the water and to the light, and you're done!

2) Ask Archangel Michael to clear any and all attachments that are draining you in any way. See his vibrant royal blue or purple light clearing your energy field. That's all, you're done! That's why it's so wonderful to work with angels, they really do most of the work once you ask. 

3) Every few days, do a chakra clearing meditation. I recorded a video on how to do this recently, check it out here.

I make sure to clear myself daily using one of the above methods. 

Sometimes I feel a only a slight difference, but on the days where other energies are overwhelming my field, I instantly feel lighter and more grounded once I clear.

Archangel Michael Delivers Proof He's Real

Sometimes this whole angel, fairy, energy, goddess realm can seem kind of far out. Far out to others, yes, but sometimes, far out to even ourselves. When I first learned about energy magic, the power of intention, and the law of attraction, I was beyond excited. I'd wake up in the morning and have to remind myself that it was all real - magic existed, my chakras were alive and well, and I had angels around me. I'd then get super duper excited and think "This is SO AWESOME!"

While I no longer have to remind myself that magic is real every morning, I do always love a faith booster - that is, tangible proof that shows up in our external reality. Proof of what? Proof that my angels are real, that the law of attraction works, or even that energy medicine really does heal.

My desktop screen: What I saw after my computer came back to life!

I had an epic faith booster yesterday, when I went to turn my computer on. I've been away for a couple of weeks, and didn't bring my computer on the trip, so it sat dormant in my laundry room in a drawer while I was gone. When I tried to start it, the keyboard lit up, but not the screen. This happened over and over again, until I decided I would just have to take into Mac to see what was up. Praying nothing was wrong, I packed the computer up as I was about to head out.

I then had a flash of insight upon remembering something my mother recently told me. She said that when your light is bright, there are certain forces in this world who would love to mess with your flow. Why? Because they feel comfy cozy in the darkness of fear, and you shining your light so bright is going to kill them. My laundry room has some funky vibes in it, and my computer is one of my main tools for sharing light, so I put 2 and 2 together and asked "Archangel Michael, please remove any unwanted energies from within or around my computer and send them into the love and light. Please remove and energies who have tried to manipulate this computer. Thankyou"

I tried again. It boots up. No problem. There was my lovely orca desktop picture.

Faith boosters. Gotta love 'em. (Thanks Michael!)

A Message from Archangel Michael

I didn't always believe in Angels, in fact, up until about 16 months ago, I thought they were straight out of a fiction book. That all changed, however, when I started relying on my inner guidance for advice, rather than the outside world. Since then, the Angels have shown up everywhere in my life. At first they showed themselves visually, in blue flashes of light I'd see around people, cars, and animals. Eventually they showed themselves to me in words.

I can hear them most clearly when I take a pen to paper, in nature, and ask a specific angel to step forth  and channel his or her energy into my writing.

I know it may sound a little scary, or perhaps a little out there - and you're right. Opening yourself up to ideas that society has deemed crazy calls for some serious confidence. But we all have the ability to speak with angels, and now, more than ever, calls for us to use that ability.

Today I went out to nature in a bit of an anxious state. I had so much going on for my business that I didn't know where to start. I asked Archangel Michael to come through to me, and this is what he said. This message is not only true for me, but for all people.

"Just trust your inner voice, when it tells you to sit, then sit. When it tells you to run, then run. When it longs for companionship, go out and find a friend. When it needs to be alone, be alone. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be. The world may seem scary and big, but it's not, it's right inside of you. When you feel the merging of your soul with the divine one truth, let it be so. Don't run in fear of what is to come, as I have said, and will say again, you are taken care of, you are loved, you are honoured. 

Your mission is great, a fantastic merging of different passions and intersections. Let that not fool you, though, as the only true mission is within your heart. To be the love which you seek, to live in the one truth that all is perfect, whole, and clear. Respect others and where they are at with their journeys, in time, everyone will join the light race. 

Unfold your wings and let the power of intention guide you, across the seas, to distant shores, where your name is being called, even now. Trust that we understand your human needs, to be loved and to love, to give and to receive, and to play amongst the orchards of paradise. It is so. We will give to you, give all to you. Just be ready to receive. Be ready to receive the oneness of all, the lightness of being which you crave, and which you are experiencing, even now. 

Let all your days be filled with glee, for you are a holy child of Spirit, whose name means the glory of all days of life, of all love, and of all happiness. Remember the memories of oneness, that are always there, never lost, in the bowels of the earth, in the land of the seas, and in the dawn of humankind.

I took yours to mean the 'love and respect' he concludes with is your own love and respect, as we are all one, so is the love we share.

I'll be posting soon about how you too, can receive messages. It requires practice, but once you start to trust yourself, you can communicate with virtually any part of the spirit world - a deceased relative, , Angels, Buddha, Jesus, a Hindu Goddess - the list goes on.
